Volissos and Homerus Travel apartments are situated in the traditional village of Volissos, Chios.

We operate succesfully since 1990 but experience in tourism goes back 25 years ago.
The apartments are old renovated traditional Greek houses with a unique atmosphere.

Our guests are mainly attracted by the fact that you will not find mass tourism here which is the key to our succes. We 've got visitors from different countries, mainly from the European Union. Sometimes we also have guests from the Scandinavian countries and even from Canada, the USA and Australia! Especially in July and August many Greeks from Athens, Thessaloniki and other cities come to stay with us to escape from the rushy city life. The region offers you an opportunity to relax and choose one of the several little known and uncrowded beaches. You can reach the sea by walking through a beautiful plain with olive and orange trees or by car. The tranquility, the sun and the crystal clear water will give you the opportunity to rest in a very relaxing atmosphere.

We can help you decide what you would like to visit each particular day. We can also suggest many interesting day trips that will make you appreciate the beauty and variety of this island. Many of our visitors look back and remember the wonderful time they' ve had in one of the several alternative healing workshops (yoga-reflexology-rei ki-massage) or the walking and painting ones that were organized through the years.

The climate in Volissos is wonderful. Especially in the spring time, nature here is overwhelming. The region lends itself to hiking and herb collecting. During the summer it never rains and there is usually a pleasant little northern breeze.
